MAHRA Members:It's been a busy September already for MAHRA as we've accomplished many important items already.
- Joint Meeting - Wow...Our keynote speaker, Bob Kelleher, was awesome...'that was one of the best presentations I've seen...'
- Workforce readiness - if you're looking for getting involved? Try Workforce Readiness Committee. Please reach out to Laurie Glaude, President-Elect, for details. We have events beginning soon and could always use your help.
- MAHRA Monthly News - our 2nd Issue was released in September. I hope you're reading all the great information to stay informed.
- Annual Membership Renewals - we will be concluding our re-enrollment for our members that began in June at the end of September. It's not too late to join now and enjoy all the membership benefits. (Members will need to join via the email invitiation and not via the website.) Please use the 'Contact Us' on the website if you need any assistance.
- MAHRA Board Meeting - In our September meeting, we had updates from Officer / Directors for: Legal & Regulatory Affairs, SHAPE 2011 Update (SHRM Requirements), and from our Diversity Chair on the Chapter Initiative.
- Membership - Announced our HRCI Prep Course Scholarship winner to one of our Members.
- October Monthly Program - Benefit Trends - Effective Strategies for Employers to control Health Care Cost
- October Monthly Program - our non-profit partner, Families in Transition, will introduce themselves to our membership.
- MAHRA Monthly News - 3rd issue
- MAHRA Board Meeting: Officer / Director updates for: Membership, College Relations, Publicity/Foundation, and Communication/Website.
- MAHRA will finalize the 2-Year Chapter goals.
- MAHRA will be planning for future MAHRA Membership Growth.
- MAHRA will be releasing a New MAHRA Brochure.
