For the past year the Franklin Pierce University (FPU) student chapter members have been working hard on achieving a SHRM Merit Award.

What is a Merit Award?  It is a way for SHRM to recognize student chapters for their excellence in programing and service in the main areas of: professional operation of the chapter, professional development of its members, support of the HR profession and partnership with SHRM.  Winning a Merit or Superior Merit Award will put FPU student chapter in the top 25% of all the student chapters nationwide!
