About our speaker:
Thomas M. Closson is a Principal in the Portsmouth, New Hampshire, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. He has been practicing labor and employment law since his admission to the New Hampshire Bar in 1993.
Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, he was a founder and partner in Flygare, Schwarz & Closson, PLLC, a highly regarded firm specializing in labor and employment law.
Mr. Closson has extensive trial experience. During his career, he has successfully represented numerous clients before New Hampshire Courts and juries. He was lead trial counsel in one of the New Hampshire Superior Court’s most high profile cases, representing the “donor towns” in their challenge to the constitutionality of the Statewide Property Tax.
Mr. Closson is also an experienced appellate litigator. He has argued, and won, significant cases before the New Hampshire Supreme Court.
Mr. Closson has been ranked in Chambers USA, rated by Super Lawyers, peer rated for highest level of Professional Excellence, recognized by Best Lawyers as Lawyer of the Year in 2020 for Litigation—Labor and Employment.
