President's Welcome Letter

To:       Manchester Area Human Resources Association Members and Colleagues

FromBrie Elliott, MSHRD, SHRM-SCP, PHR, C(k)PF, MAHRA President

I am very excited to be stepping into this leadership role in support of the MAHRA community. I am very lucky to have a strong and supportive Board of Directors as well as membership group. MAHRA and the board continue to focus on our mission and really foster growth and development in ways that support our human resource community. I look forward to continuing this work and hopefully moving more of our initiatives forward over my two-year term.

The changes around us—whether social, political, technological, scientific, economic, or otherwise—have required all of us in the industry and in our communities to navigate through new and complex landscapes, all of which have had profound impacts on the companies for which we work, our communities, and our profession.

I want to take a moment to thank our members for their continued participation and enthusiasm in MAHRA, as well as our sponsors for their incredible support which allows us to continue to offer incredible programming opportunities. Finally, I'd like to give a special shout-out of appreciation to our Chapter Board of Directors and each committee member for their tireless work on behalf of all of us at MAHRA. The time and effort that they are willing to volunteer is incredibly generous and has allowed us to continue to be successful as an organization.

If you’re interested in discussing opportunities to join the MAHRA Board of Directors or any one of the amazing committees, please reach out to me at president@mahra.org or Amy Mayo at presidentelect@mahra.org.

Best regards,

Brie Elliott, MSHRD, SHRM-SCP, PHR, C(k)PF
