New England College's Human Resource Management Conference

New England College will be hosting a Human Resource Management conference geared toward HR professionals, working in the New England region. The conference is a one-day event encompassing a wide array of cutting edge topics in the Human Resource field. This also presents an opportunity for HR professionals to connect with our Continuing Education team offering workshops year-round for professional development and organizations alike.

At this time, we are seeking recommendations for speakers interested in presenting on topics in the following areas:

• Legal guidance and highlights (E.g. I-9, FMLA, e-Verify, legal and regulatory compliance)
• Working with the Military population (E.g. Understanding military resumes, hiring veterans with unique skill sets, hiring and retaining veterans)
• Multi-generations in the workforce (E.g. Emotional intelligence, performance reviews, emotional intelligence, succession planning, workplace conflict)
• Substance abuse in the workplace
• Hiring for diversity and inclusion
• Employee engagement (E.g. Work place harassment/#MeToo, performance reviews, HR metrics, Multi-generation engagement, Communications)
• Mentoring/Reverse mentoring in the workplace

It is imperative for Human Resource professionals to remain on top of their game; SHRM re-certification, keeping informed, or educating colleagues on pressing topics in the field. With dedicated members committed to furthering the profession, I am interested in hearing from active members of your association who would be interested in presenting at our upcoming event. We would love to connect with potential speakers for the following sessions:
